It is very encouraging to see how many artists now follow in the footsteps of the old masters learning the skills and developing new ways of creating, based on the old traditions.

Realist art is a wonderful means of communication without the lengthy explanations which often accompany modern art. Let us continue in our efforts to employ this universal visual language to convey beauty, to capture a moment in time, or even to warn or accuse or whatever other task we set ourselves.
