Lyn Diefenbach

 

Lyn Diefenbach is an award winning Australian artist and tutor specialising in pastels.

Lyn´s paintings cover a myriad of subject matter, including portraits, seascapes, still life and florals. Her ability to communicate her ideas has entrenched her as a respected and sought-after tutor, with teaching engagements internationally and across Australia. During COVID, she has been able to adapt her teaching to utilise Zoom, successfully bringing the world into her studio. She has also developed online video lessons, available for purchase through her website.

Lyn looks back on a long professional career and was accepted into the International Guild of Realism in 2008, and holds Master Pastellist status with the Pastel Society of Australia. In 2019 Lyn was awarded Eminent Pastellist status – the highest award within the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS). Lyn was accepted into the Pastel Society of America as a Signature Member in 2016. She has been featured numerous times in the International Artist, Pastel Journal and the Australian Artist magazines as well as in the television series Colour In Your Life.
