Max Baccanello

Maximillion Baccanello completed his studies at Charles Cecil in Florence, where he focused on academic portraiture following traditional representational art and the sight size technique. Before then he attended Chelsea College of fine art at the university of London.

He now resides in his studio in Barons Court, London where his work focuses on multiple figurative pieces and portrait commissions. 

Max is inspired by social constructs that govern our behaviour and the environment that has been built around us. He aims to capture the feelings of individuality of people within their social environments. His paintings follow the skills of the old masters but he is also influenced by modern artists.

Max has exhibited widely and has won a number of prestigious prizes
