Beatrice Cloake was born in France and is married to a British citizen. A proud mother and grandmother she now lives in Hythe, Kent UK. Working as an artist and designer Beatrice loves to play with light falling on objects, flowers and scenery.
She paints in oils, acrylics, watercolours, and coloured pencils. Her repertoire stretches from landscapes and seascapes to still lifes and portraits.
Having become disillusioned with modern art and its inexplicable public acclaim Beatrice has created her own web space “Today´s Grandmasters of Fine Art” presenting a collection of the finest artists she has ever come across.
She is an elected member of the National Acrylic Painters Association, Associate member of the American Watercolour Society, Fellow of Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce (FRSA), and a member of Folkestone Art Society.
