Ernesto Heen was born in Schleiz in Germany. He lives and works as a full-time artist in the north of Germany where he has his studio space in a traditional country house.
More than 10 years living and working in France and the UK not only influenced him as a person but also offered him the chance to study the works of great artists and concentrate on classical drawing and painting while progressing with studies at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London and the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.
Today, the artist is internationally connected with realist painters and the art world and his works are exhibited in galleries and during art events.
