Joe Hush was born in Rothbury and raised in the beautiful countryside in Northumberland which has certainly been an inspiration for his paintings. Joe is married and has two children. He is a self-taught artist who turned professional in 1993 after originally working to make fishing tackle.
Joe´s art started with commissions of country homes and farms whilst out sketching. Eventually this led to several Art Exhibitions in Chester-le-Street, Durham and Alnwick. Joe is now also kept busy with demonstrations at Art Societies and as a tutor at evening classes.
He is primarily a landscape artist working in Acrylic, Oils and Watercolours.
