John lives and works in Australia where he took up painting full time in 2002 and has acquired international acclaim as one of the finest artists since. He has received over 40 MAJOR INTERNATIONAL ART AWARDS and is now acknowledged as a master artist by many of the world’s leading artists and galleries.
In 2014 John was invited to exhibit in Settlers West and Trailside Galleries, two leading galleries in the United States, and was hand-picked by the director of Gallery France to become a member of the Art Guild ‘MASTER PAINTERS OF THE WORLD’. He is represented by major galleries in the US, in France, and Australia.
John developed his natural talent from early childhood when it started as a hobby until age twenty. With no formal training he has continued to develop his craft through constant practice, analysing the work of the great many artists, past and present, who inspire him.
John displays great versatility working effectively in most mediums to capture a diverse range of subjects such as landscapes, seascapes, floral/still life, human figure/portraits and animals. He loves to create a powerful illusion of space, light and atmosphere.
His works can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.
