Sinisha Kashawelski was born in Macedonia. He studied at the College of Applied Arts in Skopje, where he graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Sinisha is a member of several art societies in his home country and France. He has exhibited widely throughout Europe and the US.
His masterly paintings have their roots in surrealism, rich with symbolism. Most of his works are done in oil on canvas, however he also uses his skills in producing icons painted on wood. They are done in the very best traditional Byzantine style offering something that is still present and well preserved in his home country. Over the years Sinisha has won many prizes and awards.
