Amelia Rowcroft is a professional figurative sculptor who has been creating fine art portraits and figurative work for 20 years.
Living in Lewes, East Sussex, England she has worked commercially within the film industry and for the world’s leading wax figure museums (including Madame Tussauds).
Amelia studied in London at Central St Martins, the Wimbledon School of Art, and the Florence Academy in Italy by winning first prize in the ARC Salon Scholarship competition.
Amelia is also passionate about teaching the classical techniques of portrait sculpture which are hard to find in modern art schools. She has developed a series of Sculpting Masterclass films as an alternative way of learning at home. Thereby she endeavours to pass on all the techniques and tips she has picked up over the years.
